Week
of April 1st-5th
Our Reading story for
the week is “Trucks Roll!!”.
Our question of the week is: What kinds
of transportation help people do their jobs? The Amazing Words for this
story are: trailers, haul, truckers,
cabs, steering wheel, headlight. The high frequency words are: what, said, was. The text based
comprehension skill is compare and
contrast. We will listen for /u/ spelled Uu. Please practice reading the “Fun for Jud” decodable story.
*Each decodable story can be recorded for the monthly Reading Logs. J
In Math, we will
begin our unit on Time, Data, and
Measurement. J
Please continue counting to 100 by 1’s, 10’s and 5’s. Additionally, we have
been counting to 20 by 2’s.
Kindergarten Graduation
pictures will be taken this Thursday, April 4th. All
students should wear a white collared shirt. Students will have pictures taken
in a cap and gown with the collared shirt folded over the gown. Please be sure
to send in the graduation picture package that was sent home last week. J
