Dear Parents/Guardians,
Tomorrow,
Friday, May 31st will be Carnival Day! J We will be spending
the majority of this fun day outside. Students are asked to wear gym shorts, a
tee-shirt and sneakers. Please be sure to apply sunscreen to your child prior
to leaving for school and send additional sunscreen with them. Hats and/or sunglasses
are allowed as well. Additionally, it would be helpful if students have an
extra pair of socks as there will be multiple inflatables to go on and some are
outside. Please be sure to send in a lunch from home if you indicated that on
the lunch form.
Please be sure to
check your child’s backpack and folder for things coming home. Yesterday, all
Kindergarten diplomas were sent in folders. Today, memory books and an extra
first grade reading practice book were sent home in backpacks.
Tuesday,
June 4th is the last day of school for students! J It is a half day
that day.
It has been such a fun year in
Kindergarten with this class and I am really going to miss each and every
student. I am so happy with the progress and growth each student has made this
school year. To celebrate how far they have come we will be having a pizza
party on Monday! J I wish you all a fun and safe summer!
